i just feel like painting. nothing beautiful or meaningful, just big walls of nothing, color everywhere like drowning.

i feel rebellious, and my creativity has been like an underground current for way too long.

so my parents think i'm crazy and want to send me to a shrink because i like to stay out all night, and occassionally don't do my chores. in short, i am doing what most 24-year olds do.

eyes- violet Clinique liner, brushed over with like mink Clinique shadow and topped with BadGal lash blue mascara - i always get complimented on my eyes when i wear that mascara, even from people who see me every day!

skin- i've been pleasantly surprised with Aveda's Outer Peace line - perfect for oily skin, and it smells pretty. and of course i always totally heart my Clinique moisture surge face lotion

dreams
my dreams have been intensely vivid lately. meaningful, maybe only because i wonder about them long after i have woken up. i have dreamt about millions of brightly colored envelopes and putting on piles of makeup and swimming in the ocean in the rain. it all points towards ideas that i am feeling a loss of commmunication, and i need to increase a my sense of self back to the way it was before everything became a volcano in the middle of my otherwise tepid life.

somehow wearing the ring he gave me quiets me down.

i woke up from a dream, and my phone rang. i am so glad i have a best friend who is on LA time. "it's hard," he said, "being so far away." i know, and that is what makes the mornings so lonely.

waking up in a city full of people, waking up in the middle of the night in a 24 hour place, and i still feel like i am the only one breathing at that hour.

i miss home. but at the same time it's crazy. being removed and coming back is like a rollercoaster. like being in two places at the same time, one home here the other there.

i notice she watches herself in the mirror. a feminine gesture, the curve of her hips round and exotic. playing peekaboo with us. fun, pretty.

the tiny white strip of lace accentuates her girlishness. she reminds me of mila kunis - dark hair, arched eyebrows, pouty pink lips. coy, she lets men look but not touch.

kneeling before me, we giggle. "i don't bite," she says, putting my tips between teeth. her naked skin against my face, i laugh. "thankyou," she smiles.

so far my strip club experience has been very positive here in little KS. ;)

i am making friends! yay!

and i really want to get on with my new years resolution of taking yoga...

it makes me feel like i have a lot more energy, and it makes my body feel strong and beautiful. and i's relaxing too. the one time of the day that i can just focus on breathing and my own internal self and let everything else just fade out.

i rememember summer days when my toes would stick to the mat, chakra breathing cooling me down, and those cold blue winter nights we would push ourselves and breathe in smoky incense that stayed on my clothes and kept my energy warm inside me until the next day.

and it was sooo much more fun than that 6am pilates class. ><

i'm going to start working out tonight (apparently, according to eric) so maybe i can get my butt in stripper-shape... but i still really want to take a yoga class.

so maybe it is not so unusual that i always feel the most creative on my klutzy days.
